The Annual Rosetta Stella Stone Rock Garden Party saw a sell out crowd rock and dance the day and night away to Astro Joey and The Cosmic Rays with special guest performances by Annie Sunray, Ella Moony, Betti Bluestone and newcomer Little Pluto.
In Woodstock fashion, fans from across the universe came by car and jets to witness the unique blend of sounds created by Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays and their friends.
A special presentation was made on the night to Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays for their service to music around the Galaxies. Rosetta Stella made a grand entrance onto the stage in her space craft to present the girls with the Cosmic Quartz Rock kryptonite Award
The show opened with a strong performance of the bands hit “I am a Star” setting an electrifying tone for the rest of the evening. Annie Sunray did not let her fans down with a cool groove of her new single “Pounding Atoms”,while stalwart Ella Moony teased the crowd with her scatter jazz. Betti Bluestone was a huge hit as always performing her song Cosmic Jet.
A moving moment of the evening, was when Little Pluto made her debut singing “That Song” With love and warmth the crowd and the band edged Little Pluto on to the stage. The heart-felt acceptance of diversity was expressed when Marzipan, known for her mischief, took Little Pluto’s hand, gave her a warm embrace and let her drum skins do the talking.

THE SOUND OF PLUTO
by Little Pluto, Science Reporter, Tuesday 29th May 2012.
It’s been a tough time for us Plutonians since we were demoted to dwarf status. However we are a resilient bunch, although at times we have felt very left out, we still exist and operate as we always have. We are just having to deal with the human’s new awakenings. A lot of the problems arose inside our wider community of the Kuiper-belt where objects bigger than Pluto underscored our shaky status.
We were overthrown by the almighty “Xena”. ( In fact Xena is now known as Enis, after the Greek goddess of discord and strife.) You see Pluto is suffering as a result of the technology revolution. In the old days earthly scientists were unable to see clearly to the outer planets and what was there. Now with their new fan dangle toys they cited “Xena” who is just a little bit bigger than us Plutons. She has more attitude and to be seen by the humans through Hubble, she pranced around in front of the new technical telescopes of the human scientists.
As much as we love the Hubble space telescope its ability to hone in closer on our outer region is interfering with life as we knew it. Outsiders…They just come in and think they have the answers to problems. By the way, a lot of our problems did not exist until earthlings butted in. So now to earthlings we Plutonians are merely known as an asteroid number dubbed 134340. Mmmmm oh to be a mere number…
We have always existed harmoniously with Xena, we knew she was there. We played together well, until she started showing off through her new human fame. Humans mean well, but they have big egos that can interfere with life as we know it at times.
In June 2011 the Hubble set its telescopic eyes on P4, now classified as another moon for us, saying that we now have 4 moons. That’s cool but we have always known we have 4 moons, just because these earthly scientist can now see it, they believe it. There is an old earthly saying, if you did not see the tree fall in the forest did it really happen?
This column is not meant to be a whinge session about new human judgments on our world, the world we Plutonians always knew existed. (I do like earthlings they are funny little creatures:) ) What I really wanted to share with you all, is the cool sounds of Pluto. We have been jamming up here for millenniums creating great sounds waves. We have been rocking out and making molecules vibrate for gillion of years. Although for humans, they could never really hear the wonderment of our sound. Because you see sound needs a medium to travel through to be heard by the human ear.
On Earth, sound travels to your ears by vibrating air molecules. In deep space, the large empty areas between stars and planets, there are no molecules to vibrate. There is no sound there. It’s that cool tranquil quarts rock jazz groove of the sound of silence, but its not really silent to all ears.
So, in order for sound to travel, there has to be something with molecules for it to travel through. That’s how Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays came to discover the Planet Pluto vibe. It was carried through Astro Joeys Blue jet and so her band could hear the Pluto sound.
Take a listen in the video and hear for yourself. SOUND OF PLUTO
It’s been very cool because Astro Joey and The Cosmic Rays have really encourage me not to let the new human discoveries get me down. So Astro Joey said when you get built up emotions, instead of getting angry just express them in music. So Astro Joey and the Band, invited me to come play with them. It has been awesome and I learnt a lot. So much so, that some of the Electronica Bands around the cosmos have me helping them in the studio. I lay down the sound of Pluto and then the other musicians put down some cool melody’s and grooves. It’s a great thing to try. Give it a go.
So…..Rock on Pluto.
The Games of Hera – by Lady Goo Goo Sports Reporter, Monday 28th May 2012
Throughout time many stories have been told of girls’ participation in sport. These stories have entered the cultural heritage of a people. Sometimes those stories have been limiting to the encouragement of girls into sport.
One of the greatest stories of women participating in sport, goes back to the great Ancient Olympics. Women and girls did not participate in these games, although they did have their own festival dedicated to the Goddess, Hera, the wife of Zues who was the head man at the Ancient Games.
Participating in the Heraean Games back in ancient days was a big motivator for me to drive the Galaxic Women’s Sport Foundation. Although it was great to be able to participate, there were some very strange rules back then.
A committee of 16 women from a cities of Elis organised the event. Like the ancient Olympics, the event was conducted every 4 years.
Every year the Heraean Games were held, a peplos or a robe was woven and presented to the great Goddess, Hera and placed in her temple.
Girls competed in 3 age groups in only 3 separate foot races the length of the chariot’s racecourse, but less distance than the men. It was known as the “Maiden’s Footrace” in honor of the goddess, Hera. The winners received Olive crowns, just like the Olympic victors and a share of the cow sacrificed to Hera.
One of the conditions to compete was that the girls who participated were not allowed to be married. If a married woman was found to have competed she was “barred on penalty of death from the sanctuary of Zues on the days of the athletic competition for boys and men.” Legend also has it that women and girls were not permitted to watch the men and boys events.
This ban was a key motivator to establish, in another universe outside of Earth, the Inter Galatical Girls Warrior Sports Foundation. I’ll write more on this foundation in future posts:) I will also be covering the concept of music and sport in future articles

Saturday 26th May 2012 -The Daily Galaxy – By Astro Joey
Rosetta Stella, Planet Girlo’s Media mogul, announced today that she has linked in with Paper.li to create a new music magazine, Astro Joey and The Cosmic Rays Music
“I’m delighted to expand circulation of the band’s news through Paper.li” she said from her Galaxic Headquarters. It will assist in expanding circulation into regional and remote Galaxies, which is important to the band, for the girls do not want isolated communities to be left out of the fun”
Ms Rosetta Stella’s Blue Galaxy Network is still to be rolled out to the far outer regions of the universes. Although there are varied cultures and languages across the universe and galaxies, Ms Stella believes that the music publication can break down such barriers, as she considers that “music alone is a universal langauge” A philosophy that is held strong by the band as well.
The current access to the Blue Galaxy network is restricted in the outer regions for some planets, such as near Pluto. Spokeswoman for Pluto, Little Pluto, said that she was “over her four moons about the news, as it has been a difficult time for Pluto since being demoted as a Planet”.
“Although Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays can be found throughout the earthly web via facebook, twitter, reverbNation, Myspace, Google plus, I-broadcast tv, You Tube and Vimeo, our reception can go skewiff” sometimes “The paper.li, Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays Music will just be fabulous“.she said
Rosetta Stella and her Media Company are a keen player in the world of convergence media and delivering it to isolated communities as well as main stream communities. The company is currently encouraging partners for the new “Astro Joey & The Cosmic Rays adventure TV/web series. Interested parties can contact at email@example.com
Look out for the launch notice here where you can get a copy of Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays Music Magazine here on this site. For a sneak peek visit http://paper.li/f-1337937638
Astro Joey and the Cosmic Rays on the earthly web:
Tuesday 15th May 2012 -The Daily Galaxy
Squealing fans lined up around the Planet Girlo Stadium to get the pre-release of Astro Joey & The Cosmic Ray’s new single - “I Am A Star.”
Not since the ancient times of the Granite Beatles, have we seen such scenes and response to a new release.
“We wrote it on our last tour when we came across some pretty nasty dudes such as music promoter, Ratty Rockface,” said Astro Joey.“The music business can be tough and as much as there are great people out there, there are also a lot of sharks, waiting to see you fall.”
Kristy Solarflare, The Royal Stella’s Musical Minstral and keys player in the band was the driver of the song. This single reminds us that it’s OK to be different, have dreams and shoot for the stars. She’s a wise gal and has a great head on her. Very creative and talented.
In my recent interview with her for i-Rock TV, she explained her inspiration behind the song “Sometimes it takes a bit of inner strength and courage to follow that dream to the top. Along the way, other kids can be jealous, try and knock you down and be mean for being a bright light in that sky. When I saw Ratty Rockface being a bully with people, it made me mad, so I figured I’d just put my feelings about it into a song. Music speaks for itself and always wins out at the end of the day,” she said.
Ratty Rockface was removed and escorted from the venue and Astro Joey & the Cosmic Rays continued to play their Girlo Rock Quartz sound and blew their fans away. Bullies are just not cool.
“I am a star” is a song that embraces uniqueness and pride in who you are. “I Am A Star, is the lead song in the developmental cartoon series, “The Adventures of Astro Joey .”

Named one of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time” by Rolling Galaxy magazine, Annie Sunray shot to fame after the infamous solar storms of Galaxy, which moved her closer to the Northern Lights, inspiring her last album “Pounding Atoms”
Influenced by earthling Annie Lenox and the beat box of the 80′s Annie Sunray has created her own style and genre of galaxy rock quartz sound. A sound promoted on Media Mogul, Ms Rosetta Stella’s TV Network. Rosetta, launched Annie’s career beyond Jupiter and Annie has been busy ever since.
“Ms Stella was most enthusiastic in discovering me” said Annie ” I was personally contacted by her and invited to come home to Girlon to perform at her Stone Rock Party.” “How could I say no to Rosetta?” she said smiling. I am looking forward to performing”
Annie stated that “Stella’s Stone Rock Garden is pretty unique and the natural acoustics of the garden is magical” The inside gossip is that we may even see a live recording completed of her performance at the Stone Rock Party.
